One Green STREET…an organic lifestyle destination

The hubby and I checked out the Grand Opening today!  It is an absolutely beautiful shop with fun, creative, and eco friendly products. (Sorry for the phone pictures but I forgot my camera at home)

There were wonderful Green Light cocktails, punch, wine, and appetizers.

The hubby enjoyed a Green Light Martini while we browsed the shop.  (I may have had a few sample sips…I don’t consider it a break of my training plan).

The PR lady for One Green Street was kind enough to send me a copy of the cocktail recipe:

Green Light Cocktail

1 oz Drippings Spring Texas Vodka

1 oz freshly brewed unsweetened green tea

3/4 oz orange juice (not from concentrate, fresh is best)

2 tsp simple syrup

3/4 oz finely chopped kiwi fruit

2 drops angostura bitters

There was also an unpictured glass of white wine (which I also sampled) and a few appetizers.  My hands were full of shopping goods and I could not take pictures.

They gave away reusable shopping bags full of green goodies!

It was stuffed full of wonderful organic goods!  I will review the beauty products as I use them.

We ended up purchasing Grounds for Change Coffee and a reuseable Love Bottle.  (The bottle has a beautiful black design that you cannot see because it is sitting on our black table)
