I have come to the conclusion that law school makes me eat badly. Anytime that I am forced to sit inside for weeks at a time and work on school I manage to devour every processed food in sight and put back on those Texas Ten. Case in point: the food consumed this weekend while reading through about 10 trees worth of paper…

[Source] Luckily this came in two pieces and Jordan snagged half.
[Source] I will admit, these babies were pretty darn good. But I didn’t need half the box.
Needless to say my endless stress eating is bad for my waistline and gives me a terrible sugar hangover the next day. Anyway, I am in a rut…a huge one. Law school has ruined the last two years of my life and it will continue for another year. So I may just be in a pickle.
Anyway moving on to something more fun…Daily Challenge!
July 12 Daily Challenge
Cut the crap day! Yep, this challenge will be rough for me. Today, cut out the crap (processed, sugar filled, fried) and eat well for today.
Lucky for me I bought a couple pounds of blueberries yesterday!

Good morning! You know you can always come over to College Station and we can hang out and vent about how much of a rut we are both in. I like the no crap idea, but I am going to make it into a no processed food idea. I made a coconut cake yesterday and will definitely be having some tonight after dinner!

this is my hardest struggle! sometimes i eat something uber processed and then i remember instantly why i try not to eat these foods because i feel crappy after ANDDD i just want more and more. like poptarts for example – for some reason i can’t stop at one! or coookies

buying lots of fruits (mostly fresh but dried too!) keeps my sweet tooth at bay… sometimes that and a chocolatedark savored or a giant spoon of nut butter helps with cravings. but seriously i think packaged foods are just addicting but i understand it being hard with exams and law school demands which are no doubt challenging. good luck today

I go through “phases” of times where I’ll be really good. And then not so much. I just went through a crappy food phase and I felt like garbage constantly, so now I’m eating better and glad that I am!!

I did pretty good today, but I did eat a couple of my homemade (low sugar) cookies. I don’t really count them as “crap” though, so I think I was successful!
